A Clarence House spokesman confirmed: “The prince is delighted to have successfully completed the basic helicopter flying course at RAF Shawbury.”
Prince Harry, whose renewed romance with Chelsy Davy was revealed last month , was said to be on “top form” after passing his Elementary Helicopter Course. An insider told us: “He is delighted and told Chelsy all about it. She was absolutely thrilled for him. Harry hopes this is the first step of realising his dream of going back to Afghanistan to serve on the front line.” He celebrated the achievement by going out with Chelsy Friday night. If he passes the next phase of training, Harry will be provisionally given his Army Flying Badge, or “Wings”. Meanwhile, he’ll be awarded a certificate of graduation privately next week by his Commanding Officer.
